On getting better performance from our tumblrs
Google is doing a very poor job of picking up my posts. Having a search bar comes with some expectation of being able to use it. In my post on search, I described adding a google search bar when I discovered that the tumblr search didn’t work. Unfortunately getting google to pick up my posts seems to require that I link to them individually from elsewhere. It’s not as simple as...

Tagging old posts
If tags don’t show up on your theme, you may need to enable them from appearance.
If that doesn’t work, you may need to add the information to your theme. I think the tag code might be easier to copy from a theme that worked on a test blog as the custom theme page is a little difficult to follow.
